Creating modern, scalable services

To address the shifts in service users’ needs and expectations, we work closely with you and your users to design and implement innovative service delivery models. Our goal is to help you use technology, data, and AI to solve these evolving challenges.

In collaboration with YoungMinds, we co-designed a digital mental health support service for young Black individuals. Through a 7-day WhatsApp diary study and interviews, we explored their unique experiences and needs. This informed a series of co-design sessions where we developed and tested feasible service models. The result was an integrated support system that better addresses the needs of marginalised communities, ensuring that the voices of those often overlooked shape the services provided.

Designing organisations that work

Most organisations aren't set up to deliver modern services. We'll partner with you to evolve your culture, capabilities, structure and operating models to better suit your needs. We enhance digital, design, and data capabilities and have extensive experience coaching leadership teams through transformation challenges

A great example of this approach is our collaboration with UNICEF UK. We worked closely with their newly formed Public Engagement team to co-create and design new approaches to leadership, planning, and service delivery. By focusing on enhancing collaboration, we helped the team ensure that their resources and efforts aligned with their strategic priorities, for more effective and impactful outcomes. This initiative not only strengthened their internal processes but also enabled them to deliver their services in a more cohesive and result-oriented way.

We work with healthcare charities to standardise patient referrals and integrate not-for-profit support into NHS care. This initiative ensures equal access, supports patients with complex conditions, and fosters collaboration between sectors to improve outcomes nationwide. By aligning the efforts of both public and charitable organisations, we can create a more unified, efficient, and accessible healthcare system that can better meet the needs of all patients.

Addressing complex issues today demands the input of diverse stakeholders, each offering a unique perspective. Through our networks and experience, we bring together key players from across the system, spanning sectors, industries, and areas of expertise. This collaborative approach ensures that the most relevant voices are heard, helping teams overcome barriers and silos to tackle challenges effectively.

We worked with Blood Cancer UK to design and pilot a direct referral service that enables healthcare professionals to connect patients with tailored support. Through research and prototyping, we developed a system that integrates smoothly into NHS workflows, ensuring both ease for clinicians and meaningful support for patients. Now live in six NHS Trusts, the service has helped over 200 people and empowered Blood Cancer UK to scale and sustain the initiative on their own.
